SHREE ANTAGAD DASHANG SUTRA:

Shree Antagad Sutra is the 8th Aṅga Sutra.  It has eight sections.

This Aagam details the biographies of 90 souls who practiced restraint and penance, annihilated their karmas, ended the life and death cycle, and attained liberation (became Siddha).

The first five sections describe the religious practice performed by 41Yadav princes in the proximity of Bhagwan Nemnath. Also, described is the intense religious practice (sadhana) of restraint and penance performed by the 10 queens of Krishna Vasudev.  However, from all of these Gajasukumar muni’s commitment to forgiveness is ideal for all devotees.

The last three sections describe the observance of penance and restraint by the 23 queens of King Shrenik of Rajgruhi and some merchants.  Also, given are the details of the murderer, Arjunmali’s highest form of sacrifice and freedom from passion and attachment and his intense penance, austerities and rituals.

Through intense practice, these 90 devotees nullified their karmas and attained liberation.

This Aagam gives an inspiration and is a true indication of the devotee’s dedicated religious practice.
